Program:
Week 1: From the flamboyant Middle Ages to the luminous Baroque!
Around the Llibre Vermell de Montserrat and Vivaldi’s Gloria
A rare and exciting programme that brings together two fascinating musical worlds:
the mystical, mesmerising chants of the Llibre Vermell de Montserrat (14th century), performed a cappella or with an instrumental consort, and the most radiant pages of Vivaldi’s Gloria, accompanied by the academy orchestra.
An ideal programme to enjoy oneself, discover varied styles, and experience a beautiful moment of collective vocal music.
No level required: all singers are welcome, from motivated beginners to experienced choristers.
Week 2: From German Romanticism to Orthodox Music
Mendelssohn, Op. 69 No. 1 & 2 – Rachmaninov, Sacred Concerto – Pärt, Bogoroditse Devo
(Entirely a cappella programme)
An exceptional programme of exclusively a cappella works, highlighting the richness and refinement of European sacred choral music.
Join us for an intense artistic immersion, exploring the work of three masters of choral prayer and vocal beauty.
This workshop is intended for experienced singers wishing to explore demanding repertoire, work on harmonic precision, vocal flexibility, and collective musicality within a committed ensemble.
NB: Programmes may be adjusted depending on the balance of voice sections. Thank you for your understanding.
