1. HOW TO COME?
1) BY TRAIN
The closest train station is Cluses. After that, a shuttle will drive you from Cluses to Flaine (45 minutes) :
Arrival :
Shuttle schedules in 2024 (Cluses –> Flaine) on saturday : 8:45 AM / 03:00 PM / 05:30 PM
Departure :
Shuttle schedules in 2024 (Flaine –> Cluses) on saturday : 10:00 AM / 04:00 PM / 06:30 PM
Caution ! Timetables aren’t the same during the week.
2) BY PLANE
The closest airport is Genève. Then, from Genève airport :
- Taxis from Genève to Flaine (180€)
- Trains from Genève to Cluses (between 17€ and 30€) –> if you choose this way, read above to get information about the shuttle
3) BY CAR

Once you arrived to Flaine, be careful to the parking !
Free parking is available at the entrance to each level of the resort.
At the moment of your arrival or departure, you will be able to drive for free inside the station to load or unload your vehicle for a period of 1h30. Beyond that, the rate is €9 per hour!

If you’re looking for people who want to go to Flaine, think about car sharing ! We recommend you this website (app also available) which allows easy and efficient connections between drivers and passengers. By registering, you will be able to find people making the same journey as you.

2. Accommodation
In order to welcome you in the best conditions, we offer you fully equipped flats with kitchen. The flats range from studios to 3 rooms (or more).
This way, you are completely independent during your stay. The accommodation fees are to be paid directly to the accommodation provider on arrival in Flaine.
Accommodation fees 2025
Studio 2-4 people: 280 € (1 week), 520 € (2 weeks)
Studio cabine 4-5 people: 300 € (1 week), 540 € (2 weeks)
2 Rooms 4-6 people: 380 € (1 week), 730 € (2 weeks)
3 Rooms: 500 € (1 week), 940 € (2 weeks)
4 Rooms: 640 € (1 week), 1380 € (2 weeks)
On your application, you just mention the type of lodging you wish.
News prices will be available during March/April 2026
The students who want to share their flat with other students can do it, the price will be divided according to the number of people. For example : a 2-room flat shared by 4 students would cost 242€ / 4 people = 60,50€. If you want to be put in touch with other students, please let us know when you register.
The flats are designed for a maximum of :
- Studio = 4 persons
- 2 rooms = 6 persons
- 3 rooms = 8 persons
The prices do not include :
- Towels (4€ / person / week)
- Bed linen (11 € / person)
- Cleaning at the end of your stay (39 € for a studio / 51 € for a 2-room apartment / 64 € for a 3-room apartment)
This is optional! You can bring your own linen and clean the flat by yourself at the end of your stay.
HANDING OVER OF THE KEYS
On your arrival to Flaine, you will collect your keys at the reception :
- Saturday 18th July 2026 : From 10 AM to 6:30 PM.
- Saturday 25th July 2026 : From 10 AM to 6:30 PM.
On your departure, you will give the key back :
- Saturday 25th July 2026 : before 10AM.
- Saturday 1th August 2026 : before 10AM.
Studios will be available for students to work outside of class hours. Schedules will be set up for a better organisation.
We strongly encourage group practice and artistic meetings during the Opus 74 course. A welcome drink will allow everyone to meet, exchange, discover and work together. Therefore, the produced work will be introduced to the public at the end of the workshop.
Practice rooms with pianos will be available. A presentation of Flaine, and a meeting will be organised the first day, by OPUS 74. Some concerts will be organised on the last two days of each week. Concerts ‘teachers will be organised on each evening of the week. Programme will be announced soon
You will be able to ask for a SUMMER PASS. With the SUMMER PASS, you will have access to 16 activities offered by the tourist office. The list of these activities will be sent to you 1 month before the course start.
The tourist office will inform you about all the things you need to know during your stay. But still, you can already book these activities :
- Hiking
- Artistic guided tour (with a visit of the cultural centre)
- Golf
- Swimming pool and spa
- Tennis
In Flaine, you will find all the shops you need for your daily life. Many shopkeepers will offer you packages. Don’t hesitate to say that you are part of the Opus 74 course! You will find in particular :
